About
Soulshine Fibers was born out of a simple need to slow down.
I live in Colorado, tucked into the foothills with my husband, my stepson, and more wool than any reasonable person would admit to. Fiber art found me at the edge of burnout and gave me exactly what I needed: a creative outlet, a slower pace, and something to be proud of that had nothing to do with a deadline. I haven't put it down since.
There's a rhythm to this craft that quiets everything else. It's been passed down through generations of women, and when I'm working I feel that history. Loop by loop, a blank piece of cloth becomes something that belongs somewhere.
I'm drawn to warm, earthy palettes and all the early morning hues of a Colorado morning.
Every Soulshine Fibers piece is made to order and worked by hand. When you bring one home, I hope it carries a little of that slowness with it. A quiet reminder that some of the best things still take time.
Hi, I'm Kate, and I'm so glad you're here. 💛
